She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton, Sr. Nelson and Carrie Nelson; her husband Allen Willis; her daughter Kimberly D. Willis; and her sister Judy Nelson.

She is survived by: her son Warren Willis of Gloucester; her granddaughters, Kailey and Kristy Willis of Harkers Island; her siblings, Patty McKeel (Lester) of Beaufort, Terri Vincent of Beaufort and Cliff Nelson (Shannon) of Newport; and her pet Gunner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oceanview Cemetery.
