We bid farewell to Elaine Kellmayer Barber of Gloucester, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Elaine Kellmayer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles (Elmira Kellmayer) and NJ; her husband Richard Barber; her sister Bernice Seibert; and her sister-in-law Patti Otten.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Barber Miscovich of Beaufort, NC and Donald Barber of Bryn Mawr, PA; her grandsons, Aidan of Philadelphia, PA and Keilan Barber of Philadelphia, PA; her sister Mary Ella Turner of Hobe Sound, FL; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Rowe of Marion, OH. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (215 Ann St, Beaufort, NC 28516).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elaine's memory may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 215 Ann St., Beaufort, NC 28516, to support the St. Paul's Choir that was so dear to Elaine's heart, and whose sublime Services of Choral Evensong brought her so much joy.
