It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Poteat (Glenwood, North Carolina), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Neal Poteat; and his brothers, Frank Corvin and Shawn Corvin. He is survived by: his mother Lib "Granny" Poteat of Glenwood; his significant other Amy Fisher; his daughter Taylor Poteat; and his siblings, Bernie Poteat (Anne), Jack Corvin (Roberta), Carl Corvin (Becky), Lee Adams (Tonya), Tim Corvin, Kathy Savage (Dennis) and Robin Meyers (Greg). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; along with extended family.
