It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Gray Craven of Glendale Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Thomas Gray Craven to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. "Gene" and Grace Evelyn Bare Craven; and his siblings, Pearl J. Miller, Lenna R. Gray, Lorinda "Cindy" Butchee, Billy Joe Craven and Jerry L. Craven.
He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Staley (John) of Millers Creek; and his granddaughter Caitlin Howell (Travis) of West Jefferson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
This was made more difficult by the Covid pandemic when families couldn't visit.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League, PO Box 88, Glendale Springs, NC 28629 to encourage government agencies and citizens to take responsibility for conserving and protecting our natural resources, especially in the Ashe County area; which Tommy loved.
