With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Dean Hamby (Glendale Springs, North Carolina), who passed away on September 6, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Evelyn Miller Hamby; and his brothers, Mike Bare and Keith Bare. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Hamby of Glendale Springs and Terry Hamby (Tonya) of Glendale Springs; his siblings, Donnie Bare (Lou Jean) of Advance and Teresa Akres of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Christopher Hamby, Hannah Hamby, Trevor Hamby and Teryn Hamby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
