With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Burton James of Glendale Springs, North Carolina, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison Bayne and Coral Burton James; his son Robert B. James, Jr.; and his sister Coral James of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Force James; his children, Eric W. James, Edward B. James (Melissa Lasure) of Georgia and Sharon Elaine James of Edgewood, SC; his grandchildren, Jessi James Worley (Paden), Hazel Emily James and Livia Ruth James; and his great grandchild Sterling.
The family also requests no home visits due to Covid.
