We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 73, James Leonard Carter in Glendale Springs, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Leonard Carter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rollins Carter and Edna Sykes Carter; and his brothers, Rollins Sykes Carter and John Thurston Carter. He is survived by: his friends, Deep Gap and Cherry Grove Beach; his wife Jean Pilkington Carter; his children, Micheal David Jernigan and Susan Bentley; his sister-in-law Betsy Jernigan; and his cousin John Link. He is also survived by other family members including his special nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
