He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford Baker and Ruby Jane Turnmire Baker; his siblings, Billy Joe Baker, Donley Baker and Magdalene Powers; and his close friend Cynthia "Sandy" Ham.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Russell of West Jefferson, Betty Holt of West Jefferson, Sandy Greer of Fleetwood, Susie Baker of West Jefferson and Brenda Lovelace of Ennice; and his close friends, Kevin and Linda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
