Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carson Shatley of Glendale Springs, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 85, on September 27, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Shatley and Beatrice Wagoner Shatley; his half-sisters, Ethel and Thelma Shatley; his brothers, Ballard, Allen and Danny Shatley; and also Russell Dean Shatley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Miller Shatley; his daughter Debbie Hodges of West Jefferson; his siblings, Shirley Sheets of Crumpler, Monta Gaye Tilley of Randleman and Billy Shatley of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Victoria and Nicholas Shelton; and his stepgrandchildren, Ashley and David Hodges. He is also survived by 2 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
