She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Norris and Brenda A. Black Spurlina; and her son Thomas L. Cox. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Price (Billy Teague) of Wilkesboro and John W. Moore, Sr. (Melissa) of State Road; her siblings, Billy Norris (Margie), Jackie Hoover (Jeff), Thelma Hodge (CIifford), Sarah Perry, Tina Barr and Betty Romesberg; her grandchildren, Gabriel Hicks, Michael Hicks, Mikaela Combs (Caleb), Harley Moore, John Moore, Jr., Cheyenne Russel, Sofia Moore, Stephanie Moore, Haley Miller, Wesley Miller, Hannah Goodman, Cody Goodman (Kayla), Makayla Goodman, Tommy Nichols (Angela Cook), Kimmy Whitaker, Brittney Mitchell, Brianna Mitchell (Mason Absher) and Billy Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Hazel Abshire, E. J. Abshire, Grayland Combs, Austin Teague, Joshua Nesters Hayden Nester, Nevaeh Nester, Gracy Nester, Matthias Mitchell, Zayleigh Nichols and Arlo Nichols; her pets, Soloman, Brody, Bassie and Piper; and her close friend Ginny Wingate Howard (Matt Howard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends.
