He was predeceased by: his parents, James Caudill and Stella Owens Caudill Marshall; his wife Janet Simons Caudill; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Caudill. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Caudill of Galax, VA, David Caudill (Linda) of Rural Hall and Kathy Nelson of Lowgap; his stepchildren, Jackie Billings (April) of Sparta and Missy Sidden of Sparta; and his sisters, Jeanette Edwards of Galax, VA, Shirley Evans of Randleman, Barbara Winsett of Galax, VA and Mary Ann Miller of Laurel Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
