He was predeceased by: his parents, Obediah Turner and Mary Ann Breeze Turner; and his siblings, Kenneth Turner, Obediah Turner Jr., Quanita Fuller and Deborah Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blackwell Turner; his children, Eric Lamar Turner (Tonia) of Reidsville, Monica Loy (Edward) of Burlington and Melondy Terrell (Kim) of Burlington; his sister Marion Watlington (Edna Strayhorn) of Graham; his grandchildren, Shay Turner, Keiffer Turner, Dustin Loy, Daishon Terrell, Marquell Terrell and Kim Rhineheart Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Caydence Humphrey, Royce Price and Gianna Price. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
