He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. and Lillie Alcon; and his siblings, Ralph, Henry, Joyce Wyre and Lois Phillippe.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Holt Alcon; his children, Glenn (Pat), Jerry (Shirley), Beth Alcon Andrews (Tony) and Sharon Alcon Smith (Tim); his grandchildren, Nick McCorquodale (Kelly), Ashley Morgan (Josh), Holt Alcon (Michelle), April Patton (Doug), Jessica Sheetz (Byron), Benjamin Andrews (Julie) and Stephen Smith (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Katherine Covington (Cody), Houston McCorquodale, Ethan Morgan, Della Morgan, Skye Alcon, Porter Alcon, Aly Patton, Cameron Patton, Payton Sheetz, Matthew Sheetz, Hunter Crowe, MacKenzie Crowe and Kora Smith; his great great grandchild Jeremiah Covington; his siblings, David Alcon (Sonja), Bobby Alcon (Carolyn), Ray Alcon (Diane), Billy Alcon (Sue), Eula Mae Carter (Kelly) and Faye Downes (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Alcon, Billie Ann Alcon and Gerry Alcon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
