We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2020, at the age of 68, Raymond Clapp Jr. of Gibsonville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carson Clapp, Sr. and Margaret Ruth Stewart Clapp; his wife Laurie; his son Christopher Clapp; his brother Kevin Clapp; and his nephew Shane Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Carrie Ann Clapp; his siblings, David A. Walker (Cindy), Harry E. Clapp, Bonnie W. Land (Charles) and Mary Clapp Godwin (Earl); his brother-in-law Eric White; his nieces and nephews, Johnny Walker, Brandon Flynn (Amanda), Chad Clapp (Deanna), Correy Clapp, Angel Cummings (Chris) and Jessica Clapp; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Skylar, Justin, Adam Walker, Alexis, Austyn Etchison, Danny Ardila, Adiken, Bryleigh Flynn, Marrisa Millikin, Mason Cummings, Colton and Abigail Clapp.
In lieu of Flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Alamance (AuthoraCare), 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 and the First Baptist Church of Gibsonville, 221 Piedmont Ave., Gibsonville, NC 27249.
