She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley "Ott" Whitaker; and her parents, Russell Gerringer and Myrtle Gerringer. She is survived by: her children, Vicky Fogleman (Gary) of Whitsett and Jerry Whitaker (Bonnie) of Gibsonville; her grandchildren, Jason Fogleman (Jennifer), Justin Whitaker (Carly) and Casey McVey (Clarkie); and her sister Wilma Dawson. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Urgent Church (5935 Burlington Rd, McLeansville, NC 27301). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
