She is survived by: her parent Priscilla Flynn; her uncle John Franklin; her spouse Kenneth T. Shepherd; her daughter Julia S. Sowinski (Matthew) of Gibsonville; her grandson Patrick Neil Sowinski of St. Louis, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Glenda Faye Belvin (Herbert) of Stoney Creek and Imogene Loman (late Raymond) of Huntersville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
