He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell Knight, Sr. and Edna Earl Morris Knight; and his brother James Russell Knight, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Anna Gibbons Knight; his son Charles Russell Knight (Catherine) of Elon; his grandchildren, Caroline Knight (Corey Wilkins) of Erwin, Cameron Knight and Raeanne Dixon of Snow Hill; his great grandchild Nolan Wilkins; his brother Stephen Andrew Knight (Wanda) of Winston, GA; his nieces, Tonya Tompkins and Christy Knight; and his pet Miss Charlee.
