He was predeceased by: his son Mark A. Elmore; his siblings, Charles Roscoe Elmore, Jr., Elizabeth Johnson, Jim Elmore, Frances Corry, Edna Monnik, Gladys Moore, Peggy Cates and Jean Horner; and his father-in-law Homer F. Andrews.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Andrews Elmore; his son Timothy L. Elmore (Lisa); his grandson Austin L. Elmore (Caroline); his brother Richard Elmore of Texas; and his brother-in-law David Moore.
