He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel "Dan" Reuben Busick and Ruby Cook Busick; and his brothers, Ronnie Busick, Reuben "Teet" Busick and Ricky Busick.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Erica Lorynn Busick Batten (Phillip) and Brian Edward Busick; his grandchildren, Winford Thomas Batten, Mia Catherine Batten and Wesley McLean Batten; and his sisters, Janie Honeycutt and Brenda Church (Jim).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Apple's Chapel Christian Church (7345 NC-61, Gibsonville, NC 27249). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Apple's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery (7345 NC-61, Gibsonville, NC 27249).
