He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Mae McDaniel Wyrick; and his stepfather Willie Brown. He is survived by: his sons, Cameron Wyrick and Christian Wyrick; his granddaughter Maryssa Rae Whiteley (Jordan); his great grandchild Olivia Rae Whitaker; and his siblings, Clay Wyrick, Margie May (Carl), Betty Coble, Pansy Summers and Shirley Ross (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
