She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Paul Cauthren and Mary Swaney Cauthren; her husband Walter Robert; and her sister Becky Faulkner. She is survived by: her sons, Charles "Chuck" Smith (Lou Ann), Clifford Smith (Pat) and Walter Robert Smith, III; her grandsons, Steve Smith, Barry Summers, David Williams and Todd Williams; and her siblings, Nancy Lovejoy, Libby Latta, Bill Cauthren, Frank Cauthren and Rev. Bob Cauthren. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
