He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Heneretta Bradner Oliver; his daughter Shelby Jean Jacobs; and his siblings, Wilson Oliver, Bradner Oliver, Roy Oliver, Tom Oliver, Matilda Frazier, Mary Jobe, Nancy Smith and Martha Key.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Shular Oliver; his children, Teresa Roney (Kevin) and Darrell Oliver (Christy); his grandchildren, Jessica Roney-Barefield (Alex), Justin Oliver and Jordan Oliver; and his sister Barbara Phillips. He is also survived by Two great grandchildren.
