With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Howard Matkins of Gibsonville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Silas Matkins and Annie Gerringer Matkins. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Matkins; his children, Lisa Perkins (Clint), Laura Alvis (Rodney) and Thad Matkins; and his grandchildren, Katrina Jester Bushatz, Annabelle Matkins, Camden Matkins, Ethan Alvis and Ayden Perkins.

Memorials may be made in Eldridge's memory to AuthoraCare Hospice or Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child.
