It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Patterson of Gibsonville, North Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George Graham Patterson and Nina Elane Wilson Patterson; his uncle John Patterson; and his cousin Ronnie Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Joan McDonald Patterson; his children, Will Patterson (Allie), Bobby Patterson (Kim) and Lori Gilliam (Matthew); his grandchildren, Kinsley and Elizabeth Gilliam; and his siblings, Dr. David Patterson (Ruth), Frank Patterson (Becky), Jane Eddy (Ralph) and Susan Cameron (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
