He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Warner and Eleanor Walker Amick; and his friend Ronnie Hughes of Winston-Salem. He is survived by: his wife Charlene H. "Spikey" Amick; his children, Renee A. Mathis (Scott) of Sugar Mountain and Richard Amick of Winston Salem; his granddaughter Megan Mathis of Greensboro; his siblings, Anita Brady (Wiley) of Ramseur, Alice Amick of Franklinville and Larry Amick of Franklinville; and his friend Hudson Burton of Louisburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors.
