He is survived by: his wife Ginger Westhoff; his children, Andrew Sowers (Darci) of San Jose, CA and Susan Johnson (Miles) of Franklinton, NC; his granddaughters, Abigail, Emily Sowers, Brylee and Amberly Johnson; and his sisters, Violet Davenport of Durham, NC and Sue Shively of Erie, KS..
