He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Grimes Braxton and Lamar Carden Braxton. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ellington Braxton; his son Jeffrey Scott Rudd; his daughter-in-law Melanie; and his grandchildren, Taelor of Fuquay, Aaron Rudd of Fuquay and Varina.
