He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Eugene and Helen Greeson Michael; his wife Janis Wharton Michael; his brother David Michael; his nephew Chris Michael; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Michael.
He is survived by: his brothers, Voight Michael of Gibsonville and Mark Michael of Gibsonville; his stepdaughters, Jennifer O'Saben (Joseph) and Kristina Overton; his stepgrandchildren, Alex and Maddie O'Saben; and his sister-in-law Patsy Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
