She was predeceased by: her parents, Stiner William and Sallie Bogus Gerringer King; and her siblings, Tula Willard, Frankie Burnette, Betty Graham, Linda Atkins and Bobby King.
She is survived by: her husband Henry "Sammy" Joyce; her children, Cynthia Sledge (David) of Gibsonville, Tracie Morrison (David) of Gibsonville, Sidney Joyce of Gibsonville, Thomas Joyce of Gibsonville and Jeffrey Joyce (Laura) of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, Lou Anne Boger, Linda Whittington, Danny Howell, Henry Joyce, Bo Joyce, Brock Howell, Hope Feely, Christopher Joyce and Ashley Joyce. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
