He is survived by: his children, Carla Welch Massey (Jimmy) of Gibsonville, Janine Welch Kreider of Darien, Georgia, Lisa Welch Price (Mark) of Jacksonville and Simon Mashauri; his grandchildren, Jennifer Mattice (Danny), Sarah Tucker (Gary), Christina Turlington (Daryl), Kayla Byrd (Justin), Taylor McKinley (Raymond) and Joshua Kreider; his great grandchildren, Lucas Mattice, Grayson Tucker and Hadley Tucker; and his sister Jean Andrews of Graham.
