She is survived by: her husband Donald Brooks Gerner; her children, Teresa Horton of Thomasville, Darrell Horton (Wy) of Gibsonville and Jeannie Moore (Jeffrey) of Greensboro; her sisters, Dorothy Plyler of Locust, Jacqueline Helms of Gibsonville, Joyce Evans of Bolivia and Robyn Tucker of Greenville, SC; and her grandchildren, Jake Furnace, Danielle Daniels, Sydney Taller, Isabelle Moore, Darrell McGuire, Samantha Christopher, David Horton, Stephen Horton and Jamie Helms. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
