She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Rigney and Gladys Rigney; and her sister Dorothy Rigney Byerly. She is survived by: her spouse Larry Wood McDowell; her children, Mark T. McDowell (Rhonda) of Pleasant Garden and Wendel McDowell (Melinda) of Gibsonville; her grandchildren, Brandon, Cole, Ryan, Morgan, Whitney and Lane McDowell; and her siblings, Marlene Rigney Byerly (Roby) and Jerry David Rigney (Susan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
