She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Hanks and Minnie Barham Hanks; her siblings, James Hanks, RJ Hanks, Billy Hanks and Betty Rudd; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Crews, Larry Reed and Don Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Wayne Pettigrew (Cheryl), Robert Pettigrew (Tina) and Dwayne Steed; her grandchildren, Christy Martin (Eric), Alyssa Bennett (Daniel), Rebecca Zidman (Zachary), Justin Knight (Allison), Rocky Pettigrew (Jessica), Alice Pettigrew and Nicole Davis; and her sisters, Carolyn Reed, Polly Crews and Frances Nelson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
