With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Thompson of Gibsonville, North Carolina, born in Snow Camp, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lacy and Wilma Ann McPherson Thompson; and his siblings, Benjamin Lacy Thompson, James Clayton Thompson and Dolly Ann Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise VonCannon of Colfax. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
