She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver J. Jernigan and Annie Black Jernigan; her sister Martha Vonnie Byrd; and her grandson James Shockley Weatherly. She is survived by: her husband James Lovell; her children, Jack Farris (Tina) of Laurel Hill, James Lovell, Jr. (Sherry) of Laurel Hill, Tammy Weatherly (James) of Gibson, Terry Gardner (Donald) of Laurel Hill, Jackie Lynn Marshall (Joe) of Virginia and Barbara Ann Taylor (Steve) of Apex; her siblings, Pete Jernigan (Dorothy) of New York, Tommy Jernigan (Margaret) of McColl, SC, Sue Mimms (Jerry) of Laurinburg and Judy Herring (Larry) of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Kniskern, Fletcher Chandler Weatherly, Katie Marie Locklear, Mitchel Briner, Randle Derrick Tyson, Matthew Craig Tyson, Anna Grace Marshall, Alicia Marshall, Matthew Lovell, Joshua Lovell, Stephen Taylor and Alex Taylor; and her sister-in-law Linda Jernigan. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
