Lula Adelle Cottingham Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Adelle Cottingham of Gibson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William King and Pearl Wright Adams; her husband Emerson Cottingham; and her siblings, Sim W. Adams, W. K. Adams, Charles Adams, Annie Weatherly and Sybil Lumpkin.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Matthew Cottingham of Gibson and Emmie Lou C. Grooms of Gibson; her sister Ila Brown of Bennettsville; her grandchildren, Matthew Liles (Sheila), Adam Liles and Grey Grooms; her great grandchildren, Cassie Liles, Kailey Liles, Mattie Liles, Ragan Liles and Neely Liles; and her close friend Mary Ann.
