He was predeceased by: his parents, David Franklin Patterson, Sr. and Annie Gladys Seals Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Norton Patterson; his daughters, Michelle Patterson "Lucy" Wright (Joey) of Laurinburg and April Patterson "Scooter" Tilson (Bob) of Gibson; his siblings, David Franklin Patterson, Jr. (Janice) of Laurel Hill, Bobby John Patterson (Betty) of Laurinburg, Richard James Patterson, Sr. (Mary) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Peggy Patterson Rodriquez of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher Alan Locklear, Lindsey Michelle Wright, Ashley Elizabeth Patterson, Alyssa Dawn Patterson, Ethan Shaw Lowery, Dylan Seth Tilson and Blake Cole Patterson; his great grandchildren, Paislee Ashlynne Connell and Paxton Thomas Connell; and his close friend Carrie Mariano. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and many friends.
