He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Samuel Stubbs and Nancy Clevie Mason Stubbs; his wife Lela Walters Stubbs; his children, Deborah Hayes, Cathy Shepherd, Sonja Stubbs, Jesse Stubbs, Debi Laferney and Lisa Lewis; and his grandchildren, Dana Cheshire, Phil Hayes, Kyle Shepherd, Caitlin Muse, Crystal O'Neal, Bryan Stubbs, Clay Stubbs, Kylle Lewis and Richard Lewis. He was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
