He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Goad, Sr. and Elsie Edwards Goad; his son Michael Goad; and his siblings, Dexter Goad, Elsie Simmons, Velna Goad and Gertrude Goad.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hall Goad; his nieces, Carolyn Cardwell (Donny Martin), Donna Johnson, Linda Taylor, Gaye Gann and Bonnie Knight; and his nephew Warren Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
