It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Lee of Gatesville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert E. Lee to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Obed Lee and Minnie Clark Lee; his siblings, Olivia Lee Brabble, James Benjamin "J. B." Lee and Obed Lenwood Lee; and his grandson Carl Ober II.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Baines Lee; his children, Erica Lee and Robert E. Lee II (Julie); his grandchildren, Kristin, Travis, Brandon, Bryan and Brittany; and his sister Virginia Lee Williams.
