She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter V. "Jack" Lassiter and Elsie Hobbs Lassiter; and her husband Ernest Alton "Pete" Spivey. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Chappell of Hobbsville and Mary Lane Boone of Gates; her sister Patricia Casper of Gatesville; and her grandchildren, Steve Chappell, Eric Spivey, Angie King and Shavonda White.
