It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Andrew Johnson (Gatesville, North Carolina), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Conrad Johnson and Mary Frances Grofenor Johnson; his wife Betty East Johnson; his granddaughter Samantha Rigdon; and his siblings, Patricia Diegnau and Jerome Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Rigdon (John) of New Kent, VA, Tammy Lynn Lassiter (Steven) of Sunbury, Terry L. Johnson (Lisa) of Sunbury and Andy Johnson (Lisa) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his sisters, Shirley Haider of Tucson, AZ, Judy St. Marie of Tucson, AZ and Ellen McLaughlin of St. Paul, MN; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Mary, Adam, David, Aaron and Eric. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the future when the restrictions and safety issues of Covid have cleared.
