He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Edward Cross. He is survived by: his mother Gillian Smook of Roanoke; his children, Sarah Elizabeth Holcombe (Wayne) of Anderson, SC, Ashley Nicole Hobbs (Al) of Wilmington and Jonathan Robert Cross of Georgia; his sister Deborah Carroll of Boones Mill, VA; his grandchildren, Conner, Charlee and Dallas; and his nephews, Patrick and Daniel.
