He is survived by: his wife Gaila Collingsworth Hurdle; his children, Greg Hurdle (Julie) of Aulander, Troy Hand of Aulander and Stacy Fitzgibbon (Brian) of Cary; his grandchildren, Brooke Hurdle Crawford (Tommy), Austin, Landon Hurdle, Katelynn, Kole Kennington, Nolan Blowe, Paris and Cailyn Hand; his cousin Barry Blowe; his uncle Kenny Hurdle; and his brother-in-law Howard Collingsworth.
