With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Johnson (Gatesville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her cousin Geneva Dillard Johnson; her parents, William Dillard and Lilly Dillard; her children, Clinton Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC, Leon Johnson (Cynthia) of Elizabeth City, NC and Diane Johnson of Brooklyn, NY; her cousin Connie Freeman of Brooklyn, NY; and her son-in-law Luther James of Elizabeth City, NC. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Social distancing and mask restrictions will be followed during all services.
