We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2023, at the age of 69, Garland Lee Cherry of Gatesville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garland Lee Cherry to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack G. Cherry, Jr. and Mollie Jane Butts. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Dodson Cherry; his children, Brandon Franks (Jennifer) and Jenna Cherry-Umphlett (Matthew); his stepson Christopher Wilson; his grandchildren, Christian, Gavin, Brynlee and Rayleigh; and his siblings, Brenda, Gilbert, Carlton "Peanut" and Joyce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
