It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Bowman Keyt of Gatesville, North Carolina, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dodson Bowman and Gladys Collins Bowman Wells; her husband Donald Lee Keyt; and her siblings, Frances Williams and Johnny Bowman.

She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Hagy Thomas (John) of Letart, WV and Kirk Hagy (Peter Bureau) of Spotsylvania, VA; her grandson Alexander Carlsen of Suffolk; and her siblings, Joyce Douglas, Maryann Hughes and Denny Bowman.
