She is survived by: her close friend Shirley Foster of Franklin; and her sons, Alan Jernigan of Gates, Tony Jernigan (April) of Gates, Jay Jernigan (Trisha) of Gates and Larry Jernigan (Peggy) of Gatesville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
