He is survived by: his parent Geraldine Brown Downs Ryder; his spouse Norma Stafford Downs; his siblings, Linda Mizelle (Randy), Tammy White (Bill), L. T. Downs, Jr. and James Downs (Dottie); and his stepchildren, Robin Montello (Joe), Teresa Rickles, Denise Parker (Kerry) and Wesley Taylor.
