She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Boone and Catherine Boone; her sisters, Sallie B. Hite, Leora Ferguson, Geneva Ruffin, Elizabeth Moore and Dorothy Jean Grice; and her sister-in-law Idola Hyman.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Arthur Hall (Betty); her children, George, Jr. (Chenita) and Antowin (Erica); her grandchildren, Gladys Rascoe, Kendrick (Whitney), Ashley, Krystal, Raheem and Terry; her great grandchildren, Ebony and Kendrick, Jr.; her uncle Tom (Julia Faye Walton); and her nieces, Frances Askew, Linda Hall, Nikki Lopez and Sharion Boone.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community of Hope Funeral Service (357 Hobbsville Rd, Hobbsville, NC 27946). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Middle Swamp Baptist Church (2 Middle Swamp Rd, Corapeake, NC 27926).
